project constraints
Focus on Content and SEO
Using strategy and outlines from our SEO partner we needed to build the website around SEO principles to help us better connect with the right audience.
Easy Editing
We needed to replace the page builder with one that allows for easy editing to so that the marketing team can quickly add content and pages to support campaigns and other marketing activities.
Design with the Future in Mind
With a rebrand on the horizon in 2025 the site was designed with thoughtfulness and simplicity so that once the rebrand is complete it is easy to transition content and designs without a full overhaul.
Colors and Design Elements
While staying within our brand standards, I pulled out some additional tones of blue and orange to add visual interest.
I also incorporated wavy / ripple graphics that connect to both our logo and a key practice at DISHER to spread Ripples of Influence (ROI’s).
Another design element incorporated into the website was is a light orange circle to visually highlight and draw the users attention to customer quotes
Navigation
DISHER has a wide variety of solutions and one issue we come across is clients not realizing all that we do.
I chose to design our navigation as a mega menu as it gives another opportunity to show the user all our capabilities in one small area.
Accordions and Tabbed Content
While designing and writing for a website with SEO can have a many positive impacts. One downfall is how much content is needed on each page in order to have the best bet to rank your page.
Lots of text can make a page feel cluttered and overwhelming but accordions and tabbed content can help keep high level information visible while allowing the user to dig deeper if they want.
